We live out our Christian faith guided by a 'Roadmap,' inspired by LifeSpring Ministries. This journey of transformation unfolds in three directions: The Upward Journey > (Love God), The Inward Journey >(Love Yourself), and The Outward Journey >(Love Others).
Meet the Church Leaders
John, originally from Leeds, began his journey as a missionary kid in Northern France before his family settled in Paris, where they established a thriving Church. After attending Bethel Church's School of Ministry in Redding, California, he felt a calling to serve in the UK.
Karla, born in South Florida to Latin American parents, found her faith in her early teens and later attended Bethel's School of Ministry, where she crossed paths with John. They married in 2015 and felt led to join LifeSpring Ministries in Wolverhampton, UK.
For six years, they've served in various roles at LifeSpring Wolverhampton, including leading the youth and young adults. In 2020, they were chosen to lead Emmanuel New Life Church in Burntwood as part of a succession plan initiated by previous pastors Rod & Pauline Lewis, who sought to join the LifeSpring Apostolic Family.
John & Karla are dedicated to fostering holistic transformation and guiding others on their spiritual journey, aligning with LifeSpring's core values of upward, inward, and outward growth in Christianity.

LifeSpring Church Burntwood is a community of believers experiencing God’s presence, growing in relationship with Him and transforming the world around us.
Our desire is to facilitate a culture where people can know how to be carriers of His Presence and walk in their authority through the power of God.
To be a house of transformation where God’s people can be discipled and brought up in the ways of the Kingdom of God. We place a strong emphasis on cultivating robust, healthy relationships. This is achieved by prioritising discipleship, delving into the Word, nurturing effective communication, and seeking inner healing through the power of the Holy Spirit.
We firmly believe that God desires His church to be a beacon of light in the world. With this foundational belief, LifeSpring Burntwood actively engages with the community on a weekly basis through various means, addressing needs, instilling hope, driving positive change, and sharing the Gospel message."

Family
Church is A FAMILY, not a business, social club or institution. Through Jesus Christ we are adopted as sons and daughters into God’s family, we not only have a new Father but also new brothers and sisters. We want church to look and feel like family, valuing authenticity, real relationships, love and commitment.
The Word of God
The Bible is God’s unchanging and infallible word to the world. We value scripture as the final authority for belief and practice. Furthermore, Jesus said, ‘The words that I speak, they are spirit and they are life’ John 6:63. God’s word carry’s spiritual power to enable men and women to enjoy the abundant life Jesus came to give us.
Freedom
Jesus came to set people free from sin and death through his own death on the cross and bodily resurrection. This freedom embraces every area of life: spirit, soul and body. It results in victory over sin and addiction; INCLUDES emotional and mental wholeness and physical healing. We are free to become the people God destined us to be.
Purpose
The church is the body of Christ, called to advance the kingdom of God on the earth. We are passionate to see the nations won for Christ through the gospel preached with signs and wonders following; to see worldwide revival and transformation. Every believer finds their individual purpose when they offer their gifts to God for his glory.
Devotion
Christianity is a relationship with God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This is expressed in a lifestyle of worship and prayer through which we enjoy intimacy with God. His presence means everything and is enjoyed in individual devotion and the corporate gathering of the church.
